i finished watching princess hours last week and i jus finished watching another korean drama today. it is called boys before flowers. jus like full house, princess hours and boys before flowers made me laugh and tear. i enjoyed watching all three of them nonetheless(:
boys before flowers is korean version of meteor garden. it made me realised that i have totally forgot how the story of meteor garden went. all i noe was that dao ming si and shancai had a hard time trying to be tgt. i cannot remember how or when they actually started falling for each other. this story is abt a very righteous and brave girl who cannot stand arrogant F4 leader. her 1st confrontation w him is when her only fren in school is asked to lick his shoes when she fall and her icecream dirtied his shoes. he then started to make her life in sch miserable n slowly he falls for her n wanted to make her his. jus like meteor garden, his mother doesnt approve of the relationship and tried means and ways to break them up. the girl did not waver till the last attack. the mistress of the great corporation in korean, resort to using the happiness of her frens to make her leave her love, the f4 leader. she moved to the countryside silently, leaving her only love in misery and he lead his life in decadence when she left. fortunately, her best friend in the f4 group spotted her in a news. he wanted to look for her w the leader but he doesnt want to go. that guy was mistaken as the son of the respectable korean corporation n he was almost knocked down by the enemy of the corporation. f4 leader saved his life but he couldnt saved himself. he lost his memories abt the girl he loved most and he almost left w another girl whom he met in the hospital to America for studies. it was announced at a pool party organised by the couple and made the girl he loved most very heartbroken. she used her life to trigger the memories of them. i think this is the most touching part. u can sense the sadness in her and see the leader plunged into bewilderment as she started to mention the things he had said before.i watched that part a couple of times and each time it nv fails to melt my heart. im really satisfied.
princess hours was abt two strangers who are forced to marry each other and some internal fight over the position of crown prince. the prince has a lover of two yrs n has no interest of the position of crown prince as he is restricted to the things that he can do to maintain the image of a crown prince. he who is the crown prince of korean had to fulfill his grandfather promise to his one n only true fren that is to marry her granddaughter. being the filial child that she is, she agreed to the marriage to free her family from poverty. the prince has difficulty of expressing himself so his wife who has fallen for him earlier in the show keeps thinking that he doesnt love her. she also doesnt understand why he is always mad at her whenever he sees her with his cousin. she had thoughts of leaving the palace because she cannot stand seeing him everyday when he loves someone else. when he started to speak his heart, things turned around and settled nicely between them. however, because of the internal conflicts, they had to be separated for some time. i likehow the girl accept his real proposal for marriage. it is sooo sweet. haha. the part where they spoke their heart was nice too.
all these dramas have one thing in common that is there is always another guy who love the girl and are always there for her. i think i will be more like the girl in princess hours. i will show my displeasures and would rather leave the guy i love but he doesnt love me. hehe. alright this is rather long so i shall end here! i love romance-comedy dramas!((:
